Verify your coverage
- 1
Gather your details
Have your insurance card, member and group numbers, date of birth, intended service and preferred practitioner ready. Share sensitive details directly with the clinic, not through a public website form.
- 2
Ask Isabelle to check benefits
Call (303) 467-5337 and ask for Isabelle, the in-house insurance coordinator. Request confirmation for the specific provider, location and service; a carrier name alone does not establish coverage.
- 3
Confirm costs and requirements
Ask about deductible, copay or coinsurance, visit limits, referral or authorization requirements, exclusions and medical-necessity documentation. For VA Community Care, confirm the authorized service, visit count and authorization dates before booking.
- 4
Review the appointment before booking
Review current service fees and available package discounts on the booking page. Clarify what you owe if a claim is denied, whether a package is reimbursable and whether the quoted cost includes the assessment.
- 5
Keep confirmation and receipts
Record the insurer’s reference number and the benefits discussed. Bring your card and authorization to your visit. Eligibility checks are estimates, not guarantees; final payment depends on claim adjudication.
Insurance verification FAQs
Does an in-network carrier mean every service is covered?
No. Coverage depends on your exact plan, provider, service, medical necessity and authorization. Ask Isabelle to check your benefits and confirm details with your insurer before your appointment.
Can veterans use VA Community Care?
Calm Spirit accepts authorized VA Community Care for acupuncture, chiropractic and therapeutic massage. Obtain the appropriate VA referral or authorization first; confirm dates, approved visits and covered services before booking.
Do you accept MedPay or workers’ compensation?
Calm Spirit accepts MedPay for auto-accident recovery and Colorado workers’ compensation. Provide your claim information and confirm adjuster requirements, authorization and billing arrangements before treatment; claim acceptance does not guarantee every service is paid.
Can I pay with HSA or FSA cards?
Yes, HSA and FSA cards are accepted for qualified services. Your plan administrator determines eligibility and any documentation requirements. Cosmetic or general wellness appointments may not qualify; retain itemized receipts and confirm before purchase.
Where can I see exact fees and package discounts?
The booking page shows current service fees and available packages before booking. Check the selected practitioner and appointment type; insurance participation does not necessarily extend to packages or cosmetic appointments.
